Welcome to Grasp The Universe

There is overwhelming evidence that we are not alone. Any kind of a healthy dose of curiosity on the matter is viewed upon as conspiracy.

Recent Advances in Science & Technology

Only now are we able to confirm that other stars have planets. Given the age of some solar systems, older and more advanced intelligent life very likely can be found elsewhere in the galaxy. The idea that faster then light travel might be possible opens up the possibility that they could be visiting us or at least passing by.

While right here on our planet we are discovering life where once thought impossible. Extremophiles live in the most extreme conditions and are even able to survive a trip to space and back.

We start to realize that life-bearing conditions are far more common than previously thought.

Star Travel

UFO's are real. No claim can be made as to the origin of these unidentified flying objects. Many can not simply be dismissed as hoaxes or natural anomalies. They demonstrate advanced propulsion techniques and maneuverability that can't be matched by even our best military aircraft. At least not by any known by the public. I think that most craft are our black ops including all the triangles and a few might even be from somewhere unknown to us, maybe true visitors.

Let's review the evidence and ask ourselves seriously: "What are the chances?"

Redesign in Progress

As you might notice the site is under a major redesign. I've decided to keep the site live while making the changes because the content can still be viewed, somewhat.

Spectacular: Antarctica Expedition in High-Speed

Experience what it might be like to go on an expedition to Antarctica through this amazing journey.

Watch as they unpack an airplane, bolt it together, and fly it around. Apparently an An-2 Cub (worlds biggest biplane I believe)

That’s an An-2. Can fly on anything from diesel to piss and probably even after loosing a wing or two. Assembly with duct tape in field conditions is allegedly in the official manual under the heading “Normal operation procedures”.

Google translation of the video title:

RAE-54 on board the research vessel “Akademik Fedorov”
“RAE” being “Russian Antarctic Expedition”

Later I found these links posted by a commenter on Reddit:

Here’s a basic description of the expedition.

At 4min 30sec someone pointed out a what appeared to be a coffin. Here is a link that seems to confirm that, here’s where the coffin came from.

A remote and isolated place like Antarctica lends itself well to the mysterious. Only accessible by a relatively small number of people. It’s a great place to setup camp if you were an eccentric billionaire scientist.

  • It would make a good level for a 007 video game.

  • A commenter on Reddit mentioned Shackleton’s expedition and I thought I’d share it here:

Shackleton’s expedition is probably the most talked about expedition to Antarctica. Many books and movies have detailed the account. I won’t spoil the ending for you.

  • Welcome to the site Chris and thanks for sharing that story and the pics. I noticed that you were using Canon 40D on your adventure to the Antarctic. I’ve had one for a long time and all I can say is that its one tough camera.

Looks like it was an amazing trip and I can only try to imagine what it felt like to be in such a remote location. I’ll just stick to trying to come up with an idea for an adventure that would take me to Antarctica and cover the costs.

  • genial hermano !!!!! buen video

  • Thanks for the kind words Pablo!

  • Yeah, seems like an amazing experience to be a part of. I think humans are meant to be explorers. We all love to get lost once in a while and explore a new place.
